Medic First Aid : Basic (CPR/First Aid)

This class is NOT open to the public.   This course can be scheduled at your location.

This course covers the following for adults ONLY:

• Assessment
• Personal safety
• Activating EMS
• Clearing and protecting the airway
• Ventilations
• Chest compressions
• One-rescuer CPR
• Control of bleeding
• Managing shock
• Foreign body airway obstruction
• Warning signs of illness
• Mechanism of injury
• Emotional impact of providing care

Each individual will receive a two year certification.

*An AED component can be added to this class.   The name of this class with an AED component is called, "BasicPlus" - additional 1 hour.
