The Heartsaver AED course is designed for employee training at agencies, businesses or other entities. This course is specifically directed toward first aiders and/or designated first responders. Heartsaver AED teaches basic CPR and AED skills such as giving CPR to an adult, child, or infant, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and using a mask or barrier device.

Certification
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Course Completion Card valid is for two years.
During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR skills practice and skills testing.
