Health Education Services (HES) is a woman-owned, small business established in 1979. Our mission is to decrease mortality and improve health by providing quality health and safety training classes for the lay community and medical professionals, implementing automated external defibrillator (AED) programs, and offering consulting services.

HES serves as a training center for American Heart Association (AHA) and a national training center for Medic First Aid, International, Inc. (MFA). Our staff includes master trainers and regional faculty. Standardized and customized courses fulfill the governing regulations of Cal/Fed OSHA for our corporate clients as well as requirements for teachers’ credentialing, school bus drivers, child care providers, life guards, athletic trainers, foster and adoptive parents, and many more. Courses for medical professionals include customized training for emergency medical technicians as well as the healthcare provider level of CPR certification. We can also create instructor and instructor trainers for in-house programs

Health Education Services prides itself on it expertise in automated external defibrillator program implementation. While the AED is the cornerstone of the program, other elements must be in place to assure the program’s effectiveness and compliance with state and local regulations.

HES also coordinates health fairs, provides disaster preparedness training, and smoking cessation courses.
